NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER AT HOME REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

  •  Preheat oven to 350˚F

  • For the Hoppin’ John gumbo, remove the lid and microwave for 1½ minutes, stir, then microwave for another 1½ minutes; or pour into a pot and heat on the stove until temperature of 165°F is reached.

  • When the oven is ready remove the lid from the short ribs and top with foil. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

  • While the short ribs are in the oven, place lobster & shrimp newburg in a pot and slowly warm on low heat. Stir frequently and do not let it come to a boil.

  • During the last 10 minutes of the short ribs reheating, unwrap sourdough boule and pop it into the oven (directly on the rack or a sheet pan) to warm through.

  • When everything is ready, drizzle the salad with the vinaigrette, place the vol au vent on a plate and spoon the newburg over top.

  • Serve everything at once or by courses, as you prefer!

  • Enjoy jam cake at room temperature with the whipped cream and blackberry sauce.
